CTRM Advances STEM Education Through Industry Collaboration at STEM Racing Malaysia National Finals

MASAI, Johor, 8–12 July 2026 – STEM Racing (formerly ‘F1 in Schools’) is a Formula 1® endorsed programme that inspires students through hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and business challenges. The National Finale saw 49 teams from across Malaysia compete for a place at the World STEM Championship in Singapore.

Among the participants was Team DepriSa from SMK Tun Mutahir. Over several months, the six-member team worked tirelessly to design, test and refine their miniature race car while preparing their portfolio, presentations and pit display (booth set-up). Their efforts earned them an impressive 13th-place overall finish and Top 3 Best Strategic Synergy Award, for collaborating with CTRM & UTEM – recognised as relevant industry partners.
