Government – Industry Engagement to Strengthen Malaysia’s Aerospace Industry

CTRM AeroSystems welcomed YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, Minister of Economy of Malaysia, together with a delegation to our facility in Subang on 21 September 2026.

Among the delegation were, Ir. Ts. Dr. Shamsul Kamar Abu Samah, Chief Executive Officer of National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO) and Mr. Naguib Mohd Nor of Aerospace Productivity Nexus (AeroPN), alongside representatives from the Ministry of Economy and the respective organisations, hosted by Tan Sri Syed Faisal Albar, Group Managing Director of DRB-HICOM.

The working visit provided an opportunity for YB Minister and the delegation to gain a closer understanding of CTRM capabilities as a Malaysian Tier 1 aerospace company, as well as our role in supporting the development of Malaysia’s aerospace industry and its wider ecosystem.

The visit also facilitated engagement between the Government and industry players, providing insights into the current developments, capabilities and opportunities within Malaysia’s aerospace sector.
