Supporting Communities in Need Through Program Sekampit Beras 2026

Program Sekampit Beras was successfully carried out on 7 March 2026 with the participation of 40 volunteers who were organised into six teams. The teams were deployed to distribute contributions to 30 asnaf recipients across the state of Melaka, covering areas in Melaka Tengah, Alor Gajah and Jasin.

The outreach efforts included visits to homes in Cheng, Pokok Mangga, Tanjung Kling, Tanjung Bidara, Bemban, Nyalas, Asahan, Selandar, Semabok, Bukit Baru and Sungai Rambai. The recipients, identified in collaboration with Global Peace Malaysia (11 recipients) and MAIM (19 recipients), comprised individuals from the fakir and miskin communities.

Among the beneficiaries were individuals facing critical health conditions, including advanced-stage cancer, heart and kidney diseases, as well as those bedridden due to stroke. The programme also supported single mothers caring for young children, including children with disabilities such as autism and learning difficulties.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to community care, aimed at alleviating the burden of underprivileged groups, particularly in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan. It also highlights the strong spirit of volunteerism and collective compassion among our employees.
