In support of the recommendations made by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) which to achieve net zero carbon in 2050, CTRM adopting sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact. CTRM initiated an energy reduction program focusing on conservation, optimisation, efficiency and renewable energy such as installation of rooftop solar PV system, installation of chilled water pump system and adoption of LED Lighting. This activities are part of a broader strategy to enhance energy efficiency, reduce resource consumption and promote environmental friendly practices in the context of green initiatives.
CTRM is devoted to increase our factory energy efficiency. Our Energy Management Policy aims to reduce electricity consumption by 2% annually across all operations.
We embraced renewable energy sources and have upgraded our plants and installed the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor energy consumption for our new Building 6. Efficient energy management helps us reduce production costs and is good for the environment. We are proud of our achievements and remain dedicated to continuous sustainability improvement.
Within the CTRM facility, we prioritise environmental responsibility by adhering strictly to environmental laws and regulations in Malaysia.
We safely and responsibly dispose of waste materials, including composite material, carton boxes, papers, HDPE plastic materials, wooden pallets, prepreg-carbon, trimming waste, scrap parts, fibreglass, burned plastic, absorbing materials and core. Our approach towards waste management is sustainable and eco-friendly.
We believe a skilled workforce is essential to success and committed in investing into the skills and knowledge of our people. This is achieved by setting up a practical training centre in our facility named as Aero Composites Training Center (ACTC).We work with local institutions to give the finest available training options, such as the Apprenticeship Programme, Diploma and Degree in Aero-Composite Manufacturing Technology at DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia (DHUAM).
We offer technical training programmes in composites and aerospace technology in support of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiatives under the collaboration with several reknown educational institutions.CTRM has also taken steps to create a workplace environment that is supportive of women and minority groups by implementing policies and facilities tailored to address their needs.
At CTRM, the safety of our employees is our highest priority. We implement comprehensive safety measures, including stringent checks, training programs, control systems, and operational procedures to minimize risks. We are certified under ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management, reinforcing our commitment to safety standards.
We continuously monitor our compliance with regulations to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all. Our holistic safety strategy includes creating a secure work environment, conducting regular audits, and enforcing strong protocols. By prioritizing safety and health, we not only protect individuals but also promote a sustainable workplace and community.
CTRM committed towards the well being of surrounding community where it operates not limited to relief programs, education and spiritual activities. We allocates funds every year for Corporate Responsibility (CR) activities in the region and other parts of the world. The CR activities focus on three areas; Workplace, Community and Humanitarian. All employees are encouraged to participate in these programmes, which build empathy, compassion and responsibility, while also positively contributing to society. These CR activities are an integral part of the organisation’s work-life balance programs.
CTRM adopts a zero-tolerance approach to any form of bribery and corruption. CTRM is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability in all of CTRM businesses and operational activities by:
1. Prohibiting the Board of Directors, Top Management, employees, and business associates from being involved or engaged in any act of bribery and corruption;
2. Complying with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations, which may include, but not limited to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2009 (Act 694) and amendments;
3. Establishing, implementing, maintaining, reviewing, and continuously improving ABAC Programme in CTRM;
4. Satisfying the requirements of the CTRM ABAC Programme that have been set;
5. Establishing and maintaining an independent ABAC compliance function in CTRM with the responsibility and authority to oversee the design and implementation of the CTRM ABAC Programme; and
6. Encouraging any person to report in good faith or on the basis of a reasonable belief, any suspected, attempted, or actual bribery, corruption, and other improper conduct through the DRB-HICOM whistleblowing channels.
This Statement reflects our commitment to prevent, detect, and respond to any form of bribery and corruption while conducting businesses and operations. The Board of Directors, Top Management, employees, as well as business associates shall read, understand, and comply with the CTRM’s ABAC Policy. Any breach or violation to this Policy shall be subjected to disciplinary and/or legal action.

This program is designed to prevent, detect and respond to any form of bribery or corruption in our operations, ensuring that we conduct our business with integrity and transparency.
