Corporate social responsibility, or CSR, is the practice of companies actively promoting the welfare of society and the environment. With an emphasis on assisting nearby mosques, CTRM has launched its “Semarak Ramadan” program as Ramadan draws near. Leading the charge this year is the Human Capital Administration (HCA) Department, in conjunction with the Facilities, Equipment and Maintenance (FEM) Department; the focus is on technical support instead of physical cleaning. Representatives from CTRM will maintain the air conditioning units that are currently in place, check electrical systems and install new equipment. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature refreshments from CTRM’s Bistro (CB3). CTRM wants to respect Ramadan, help the community, and improve company reputation via this program.
