Elevating Industry Excellence – CTRM’s Journey to the Top

The Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri (AKI), also known as the Industry Excellence Award, was established in 1991 by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). This award reflects the government’s commitment to recognizing enterprises that excel in their management practices, product and service quality, and ongoing efforts to provide greater value to their stakeholders. It aims to promote excellence and foster healthy, positive competition within the industry. 

Now, the AKI is returning with a prestigious recognition program for business excellence that is bigger and bolder! Officially launched by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of MITI, AKI 2026 sets the stage for industry leaders to showcase their innovation, resilience and world-class achievements. Reflecting on AKI 2024, CTRM proudly received the Prime Minister’s Award, marking a significant milestone that highlights our unwavering commitment to excellence. During the event, CTRM’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Nor Azham Baharin, shared invaluable insights into the strategies and breakthroughs that contributed to this outstanding success. 

As we near AKI 2026, the competition for industry leadership is heating up.
