CTRM to Support Local Organisations by Assigning SIRIM as the New Certifying Body

Attendees at SIRIM’s annual Majlis SIRIM Industri (MSI), at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, included YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, the Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry. Companies that received SIRIM certification were given recognition at the event. Joining established organisations like Novo Star and Bureau Veritas, SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd was recently certified as a certification organisation for the AS9100 (9001:2015) aerospace standard. In order to improve the application of the Aerospace Quality Management System throughout its supply chain, CTRM, which has owned this certification since 2004, designated SIRIM as its local certifying body. This decision is in line with the Malaysia Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030.
