CTRM Awarded Quality Excellent Award

Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM) has received the “Quality Excellence” award from Spirit Aerosystems, the world’s largest manufacturer of aerostructures, during the 2022 Spirit Supplier Symposium in Wichita, Kansas. This yearly award recognises global suppliers for exceptional performance in a variety of categories, including product innovation and quality.

CTRM’s CEO, Shamsuddin Mohamed Yusof, expressed delight in the prize, citing the devotion and teamwork of his staff. He emphasised that this recognition enhances CTRM’s credibility and competitiveness, particularly after managing the obstacles created by COVID-19 in the aviation industry. CTRM’s long-standing connection with Spirit, which began in 2000, now accounts for more than 50% of company income. CTRM manufactures composite parts for a variety of aircraft, including models from Airbus and Boeing.
