CTRM is one of the key players in the global aerospace composites manufacturing industry, focusing on producing components and structures. Founded in 1990, the company began its journey with the production of the two-seater composite light aircraft, the Eagle 150B. Since then, CTRM has built a solid reputation for its expertise in advanced manufacturing processes and composite materials.
CTRM offers a variety of aerospace components, including aircraft wings, nacelles, empennage and doors. The company has successfully partnered with leading aircraft manufacturers and Tier 1 companies, contributing to over 14 commercial aircraft models. CTRM adheres to high safety and quality standards, holding certifications in the Aerospace Quality Management System and the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP).
Headquartered in Batu Berendam, Melaka, CTRM is committed to innovation through automation and digitalization initiatives. This focus helps the company stay competitive in aerospace manufacturing by continuously exploring new composite materials and manufacturing techniques.

DRB-HICOM proudly leads CTRM, a distinguished group specializing in advanced composites manufacturing and engineering, driving innovation in aero composites, composites testing, and engineering solutions across multiple industries.
CTRM AC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd. It was incorporated on 16 August 1994 as the manufacturing unit of CTRM, focusing on the manufacturing and assembly of composites for aerospace industry.
CTRM TL is fully owned by Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM). The company was incorporated on 11 February 2010 to provide composite testing capabilities for both aerospace and non-aerospace segments.
CTRM CE was incorporated in 2005. Its main objective at the time of its incorporation was to introduce composites application into the local automotive industry. The company current focus of business is on composite application for non-aerostructure segments in satellite communication.
