THE LONG-AWAITED DINNER EVENT –  Rock ‘n Roll Extravaganza!

MITC Hall B, Ayer Keroh, 07 December 2024 – After 16 years of anticipation, the grand event finally returned on December 7, 2024! Themed “Rock ‘N Roll,” this celebration honored CTRM’s achievements in the Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industry (AKI) 2024 and the Malaysia Smart Manufacturing Award (MSMA). The event served as a platform to recognize CTRM’s successes and express management’s sincere appreciation for the dedicated contributions of CTRM’s employees throughout the year. Nearly 85% of employees attended this event, which was aimed to strengthen the company’s Key Result of Employee Engagement in promoting the Culture Beliefs of Build Trust, One Team and Delight Customers.

The evening began smoothly with registration as guests enjoyed the entertainment in the foyer. As the lights dimmed, the hall erupted with applause for the launch of CTRM’s Annual Dinner 2024 (AD’24), hosted by MHI’s Fadzly and 999’s Sofea. The opening featured performances by staff, followed by the Aantu band. Later, Azlan & the Typewriter took the stage, captivating the audience with five thrilling songs and sing-alongs. The atmosphere was electrified, highlighted by more than 300 lucky draws, with the climax of ten Grand Winners, lead by a Yamaha NMAX Scooter 155CC. Another highlight of the night was the “King & Queen of Rock” segment, where the best-dressed male and female employees were recognized for their outstanding adherence to the Rock ‘N Roll theme.

CTRM hosted its first dinner event in 2003, featuring a captivating performance by the late Siti Sarah Raissuddin. In 2007, a Family Day event was held on the playfield between the original Building 1 (B1) and the newly constructed Building 2 (B2), which now stood Building 3 (B3). Later, in 2008, CTRM organized its first grand gala at the Equatorial Hotel in Melaka, featuring a surprise performance by Amy Search. The following year, in 2009, CTRM organized a Family Day at MITC Hall with live music from Bunkface and various entertainment activities, marking a shift towards more intimate, family-focused events.

Following the dinner event, a survey was circulated to all employee, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive: over 90% felt appreciated and recognized, while 96% felt connected to the organization. Let us hope that this type of event will become a regular occurrence for everyone to enjoy!
