CTRM to Become APAC Region Calibration Hub for Testia, an Airbus Company

In cooperation with Testia, an Airbus subsidiary, Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (CTRM) has set up its testing facility as the Asia-Pacific calibration hub for inspection products. CTRM Testing Laboratory Sdn. Bhd. (CTRM TL) is now the first such centre outside of Testia’s Toulouse, France, headquarters, having reached this milestone subsequent to the signing of a Master Service Agreement.

The relationship consist of services including product distribution for Testia in the area, training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and an NDT Cadet Academy program. Amidst the Aviation Week MRO Asia Pacific Singapore 2023, the agreement was inked on September 27, 2023.

In line with Malaysia’s aerospace sector ambitions as outlined in the Malaysia Aerospace Blueprint 2030, CTRM TL seeks to improve calibration services and NDT training for both domestic and foreign clients.
